Letter to the parishioners from Andy Khan
A Prayer for Discernment – O Eternal God, who did establish the family of St. Theodore in this earthly world, continue to breathe upon it the gifts of your Holy Spirit which have been given to us, ever alive to your command, that we may go forth in humble service and faith to awaken all to the love of your Name, through our only Saviour Jesus Christ we pray.
Our dear Lord, may all members of St. Theodore be mindful of the time and talents, opportunities and responsibilities which have been given to us so lovingly, through your grace. Save us from complacency and from hesitating to commence new ventures. Inspire our minds with what is before us, stir up our desires to pray continually and to work willingly until your will is done, here at St. Theodore of Canterbury as it is in heaven.
This is the prayer prayed by The Prayer Group as it meets each Monday at 10:00 am The prayer asks for strength, courage and sight to discern the direction St. Theodore’s must take as we meet the future of our parish. Please pray this prayer at 10:00 a.m. during the week, whether at St. Theodore’s or out in the world.
Sacred Dance – We meet the second Monday of the month at 7:15 pm. The music is beautiful, the steps are very simple and the experience is uplifting. A donation of $5.00 is requested. ON HIATUS until September 2016.
