Our Ministries

The strength of community worship
The community of St. Theodore of Canterbury gathers each Sunday and at other times throughout the week to acknowledge our need for God and one another, to welcome strangers and to gain strength for the tasks and challenges of a Christian life and witness.

The need for outreach
Our changing community and our changing world challenge us as Christians to address injustice, poverty and disparity. At St. Theodore’s we are committed to outreach projects both locally and globally.

The joy of music
There is a special emphasis on music ministry at St. Theodore’s. Our traditional and contemporary services are led by skilled instrumental and choral musicians. St. Theodore’s is the host church for The Tunes, a community youth instrumental ensemble.

Altar Guild
The Altar Guild is a small group of dedicated volunteers who care for the vestments, linen, and sacred items used for our weekly worship.

Adult Education
At various times in the year, the church offers study courses that cover a wide variety of topics, whether it be an introduction to Christian faith for new Christians, or courses that cover current and controversial topics. Though these events are held periodically, the season of Lent is a special time for learning and study. We are always open to receive suggestions from parishioners on topics that are timely and relevant.
